Fuad K. Ameen

From convenient store merchant to sub shop entrepeneur...

Fuad K. Ameen was a Lebanese immigrant that moved to America to begin a new life.  He grew up in North Adams in the Center Street neighborhood, which no longer exists.  His father K. F. Ameen had owned a store on that street called " K. F. Ameen's Variety store".  The Family lived above the store for almost 30 years until they lost the store.  After losing the store, Fuad and his father had opened up the now famous Angelina's Sub shop on the route 2 bypass of route 8 in Adams. Both of Fuad's parents and all of his sisters helped to operate the shop.  The shop is still open today and there is also another one located in North Adams, in Oasis Plaza.
