What is Science Bowl?
The Department of Energy's National Science Bowl for high school students is regionally organized in Arizona by members of the Arizona Technology Council Foundation and local community leaders. The Arizona Science Bowl consists of several question and answer matches in a Round Robin and Double Elimination tournament. The winners of this event advance to the National Science Bowl Competition in Washington, D.C.
Club Mission Statement:
The Science Bowl club fosters a love of science within students. Each week we meet for thirty minutes and play science trivia in a fun, low-stakes environment. Students can refresh on topics that they learned in previous years, demonstrate their mastery of current science topics, and get a preview of information that they learn in later grades. In the spring, students compete with their peers from other schools at the regional competition.
