Outlaw is the newest coaster of all, built 11 years ago by the now defunct CCI. This is a wooden coaster that takes you for a wild twisting ride that the CCI designers were famous for. Like the steel coaster Dragon, it is 90 feet tall, and its largest drop is 85 feet. The most unique aspect of this coaster is the fact that there are barely any straight pieces in this coaster. You are constantly turning different directions, flying down hills, meanwhile running at great speeds. Anyone who has ridden a CCI wodden coaster knows they are one of a kind, and provide a great out of control thrill. Outlaw is definitely no exception. A cool fact of this ride is it was built on the 20th anniversary of the park, and was built with the Outlaw Gulch theme, with the additional rides of The Wrangler, Chuck Wagon, and Shooting Gallery. Later on Saw Mill Splash was added, and new for 2004, Side Winder will be added to this great themed area of the park.
Outlaws are said to have buried some $30,000 in gold in a cave somewhere on Sentinel Mountain in the Saddle Mountain Range, about three miles southeast of Beverly
