The world track debut of the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 car, at the Silverstone World Series by Renault. An evolution of the current FR3.5 car, designed in partnership with Italian designer Dallara, the 2012 machine features the Drag Reduction System (DRS) currently seen in F1. For the first time in series history the car uses engines from outside Renault, taking advantage of a new, more powerful 530bhp 3.5 V6 powerplant from esteemed U.K. engine maker Zytek. For 2012 the FR3.5 Series will also be running new specification tyres from series partners Michelin.
