Find Baby Gender
- sex: the properties that distinguish organisms on the basis of their reproductive roles; "she didn't want to know the sex of the foetus"
- The property (in nouns and related words) of belonging to such a class
- The state of being male or female (typically used with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones)
- a grammatical category in inflected languages governing the agreement between nouns and pronouns and adjectives; in some languages it is quite arbitrary but in Indo-European languages it is usually based on sex or animateness
- (in languages such as Latin, Greek, Russian, and German) Each of the classes (typically masculine, feminine, common, neuter) of nouns and pronouns distinguished by the different inflections that they have and require in words syntactically associated with them. Grammatical gender is only very loosely associated with natural distinctions of sex
- Gender is the wide set of characteristics that are seen to distinguish between male and female. It can extend from sex to social role or gender identity. As a word, "gender" has more than one valid definition.
- Discover oneself to be in a surprising or unexpected situation
- come upon, as if by accident; meet with; "We find this idea in Plato"; "I happened upon the most wonderful bakery not very far from here"; "She chanced upon an interesting book in the bookstore the other day"
- Discover (someone or something) after a deliberate search
- discovery: the act of discovering something
- discovery: a productive insight
- Discover or perceive by chance or unexpectedly
- A very young child, esp. one newly or recently born
- The youngest member of a family or group
- pamper: treat with excessive indulgence; "grandparents often pamper the children"; "Let's not mollycoddle our students!"
- the youngest member of a group (not necessarily young); "the baby of the family"; "the baby of the Supreme Court"
- a very young child (birth to 1 year) who has not yet begun to walk or talk; "the baby began to cry again"; "she held the baby in her arms"; "it sounds simple, but when you have your own baby it is all so different"
- A young or newly born animal
Sarah's baby quilt.
I've just finished this baby quilt for my cousin's first baby shower that I'm off to tomorrow. I don't know what sex the baby is going to be so needed to make it fairly gender neutral, hence the yellow. The design was very heavily influenced by a quilt I saw on here, i thought i had it saved in my favourites so i could dd the link but i cant find it:( Anyways, considering I made the whole thing by hand and it only took me 4 days from start to finish. I'm really pleased. Fingers crossed she likes it!
Baby Cardigan No. 1
I'm not planning to find out the gender so I'm sure that there will be many more similar cardigans to come for this January baby. This one is 3-6 months so hopefully it'll be for March when it'll still be quite cold here. Pattern from Vintage Baby Knits by Kristen Rengren.
