 3018 Women’s names have been uploaded into the database from 35 Service units

The Forgotten Service of  Australian Women during WW1

For a long time there has been no searchable database for the War service of Australian women who served in WW1 – and of all known  services units of Nurses, Doctors, Vads, Red Cross workers, Drivers. etc.

This has been a much overlooked area of Australians Women’s service history

Well after years  of research and indexing and with the fantastic help of Keith Day who helped me by set up of this Database for me .





What Services are Covered by the Data base

 so far  2527 Women’s names from 35 Service units have now been put up into the WW1 Australian Women data base – the following Service units have been done – ( list below)
