Welcome to the Archival Students Guild webpage!

WHO WE ARE
The Archival Student Guild (ASG) is a student organization that exists within the School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina. It seeks to provide a forum to discuss archival issues, identify with the archival profession, and engage in professional activities. It is officially affiliated with the Society of American Archivists.

WHAT WE DO
ASG is largely active during the fall and spring semesters, with business meetings and events taking place regularly. Some recent activities have included a tour of the Hollings Library's Archives, and an EAD/AT workshop with Christine de Catanzaro.

Our March meeting will be March 3, at 6pm, in the Davis College Basement.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
To become an "official" member of ASG, you must become a student member of the Society of American Archivists. However, events and activities that ASG sponsors and arranges are typically open to anyone in the community who is interested.
