Newman Student Medals
This program honors students with demonstrated excellence in acoustical design applications. Qualifying schools may nominate graduating students each year for the award.
Student Designs Competition is an annual competition for students in the architectural acoustics field. 2013 SDC results were announced.
Sylvian R. Shemitz Memorial Scholarship
The Lighting Quotient initiated the Scholarship in partnership with IESNA, awarding a scholarship of $2,500 annually. New application details and new project plans are available from October 1, 2013.
Howard Brandston Student Lighting Design Education Grant
A grant of $1,000 and a plaque will be awarded to the winner of a design project each year.
Young Professionals Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the fund is to support the attendance of students and emerging professionals at IES Annual Conferences. A minimum of four awards of $1,000 each will be granted each year.
Richard Kelly Grant
The Grant was established by the IES New York Section in 1980. It is open to young persons (under 35 years) working in lighting.
International VELUX Award for Students of Architecture
IVA 2014 is open for registration. This year’s theme is “Light of Tomorrow”. The total prize money is 30,000 €.
IALD Education Trust Scholarship Program

Student Scholarship to attend the IBPSA Conference
IBPSA-USA offers scholarships to assist students’ travel to IBPSA Building Simulation Conferences each year. The 2013 destination is Chambery, France.
Besal Lighting Education Fund
The Fund awards scholarships to students from qualified Besal campuses. Professor Berardi is working on it to get WPI on the list.
Jules Horton Award
The Jules Horton Award targets at international students studying lighting in the U.S. An award of $5,000 is given out each year.
