Intex Deluxe Saltwater System
The INTEX Pool Saltwater Chlorine Generator Chlorinator helps you no redder, burning eyes, faded clothes, and pool liners. Simply hook the Intex saltwater generator into the pool's water flow as directed, add the specified amount of salt, and the Chlorine Generator will do the rest. The pool's water is converted to an effective algaecide - and since salt doesn't evaporate or dissipate as chlorine does, the constant addition of chemicals is a thing of the past. Keep your pool incredibly clean, crystal clear and fresh at all times.87% (18)
Pelican Point sunset - Grand Bahama Island
Pelican Point..........this small town, if you would even call it that, is the second or third last town before you reach the far east end of the island. The drive to this remote location is boring as can be. It was a LONG 35 minute drive. 35 minuets is nothing to us in our everyday lives, but it seemed like an hour drive to me. You don't see any houses, no people, barely any cars, and the road was straight, with slight turns, with no hills, just completely flat, with pine trees on both sides of the road. Boring! When I got to the beach, I was amazed with the scenery. The beach was untouched, with white sand, and a long sand bar that ran parallel with the beach. Which was really nice, because it was low tide, so the ocean was completely still, with water trickling onto the sandbar. I saw two locals swimming in the ocean, in waters that were chest deep, and they were a good 100 yards from the shore. I even took a little dip. The water was so warm. It was like sitting in a nice warm bathtub. NICE! On the other side of the sand bar were massive tide pools. The clarity of the tide pools were unbelievable. It was like looking through glass. I set up directly in the tide pool and just waited for the show to begin. And it did not disappoint. The colors got Sick Nasty! Hope you guys enjoy, and thanks for the visit, and a big get well for my father who had bypass surgery yesterday. I know he'll eventually read this because he stops by my stream occasionally, so get well pops. Love you."Smoke gets in your eyes" (and your lungs)...
71 - Our Daily Challenge - "Smoke": This was definitely not my day! Ran out during my lunch break to get incense...had to go to 2 stores. Apparently, I don't know how to light incense or it was defective. It took forever to get good smoke going and it didn't last long. I managed to give myself a headache with the fumes. I gave it the old "college try", but it was an epic fail. Without a strobe, I couldn't get enough dof or shutter speed and the results were a noisy mess. So I locked myself in the bathroom again (only room without a window) to play with candles and matches. I lit and blew out a LOT of matches before I got some decent smoke. So, this is the best I could come up with. In spite of my complaining, I was happy to learn something new. This was my first time to add a colored filter. I'm not sure if it really works, but I liked it better than plain b/w and it definitely helped the smoke stand out. I glanced through the pool earlier and saw some amazing shots! Some of you had more fun than I did! :) And now, if you'll excuse me, I need to do a breathing treatment before my asthma kicks in! Cough cough....
