Join the Society for Fish and Shell Fish Immunologists today and benefit from early registration rates at the first international meeting of ISFSI in Vigo, Spain June 25-28, 2013!

The INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF FISH AND SHELLFISH IMMUNOLOGY (ISFSI) was established in 2010. Originating first from the Nordic Society of Fish Immunology (NOFFI) and then the European Organisation of Fish Immunology (EOFFI), it was decided to broaden the scope of the society to an international level because of the increasing interest in the immunology of the wide variety of vertebrate and invertebrate aquatic species now being farmed globally.

The main objective of the society is to promote and support researchers and research activities in the fields of fish and shellfish immunology and vaccinology, through the exchange of information between members, and by encouraging a variety of scientific (i.e. scientific collaborations and exchanges, projects and grants) and educational activities (i.e. PhD studentships and jobs forum, workshops and conferences).
The ISFSI needs your support to achieve these ambitious objectives. We encourage you to join ISFSI and add your expertise and knowledge to build and develop this new Society.

The first meeting of ISFSI will be held in Vigo, Spain June 2010. Visit http://vigoimmunology.com/2013 for further information about the meeting.
Two special Fish and Shellfish Immunology issues will be published: an abstract issue (with all the abstracts presented) that will be available at the Conference and a special issue containing peer-reviewed articles.

Please note Early Registration closes April 15th 2013!
Further information about joining the society can be found at http://www.noffi.org or contact the ISFSI treasurer Professor Øystein Evensen (oystein.evensen@veths.no). The annual membership for ISFSI is Euro 45,00, which includes a free internet subscription to Fish and Shellfish Immunology.
