Many countries do not require visa to enter Thailand and attend 2017 APSIG.
Please visit the Thai MoFA website for the full list of countries and
territories entitled for Visa exemption and Visa on Arrival.

For those who are required to have a visa to enter Thailand, the visa processing would normally take up to 1-2 weeks, depending on the Thai Embassy and Consulate of each country.

If a participant needs a MoFA official letter for issuing visa, s/he has to contact us (APSIG-sec at googlegroups.com) at least five weeks before your travel date (no later than 2017-05-01 if you would arrive before 2017 APSIG starts on 2017-07-22) since we will have to request an official letter from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs which takes up to 3 weeks. After we get the letter from the Ministry, the participant can now apply at the embassy/ consulate for his/her visa. We strongly recommend you to contact Thai embassy/consulate on the requirements to get your visa issued and contact us if you need any help as soon as possible.
