Catholic Campus Ministry is a
home away from home!
PLEASE CHECK OUR FACEBOOK GROUP FOR LAST MINUTE ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOUT INCLEMENT WEATHER!
Every Wednesday night, Catholic Appalachian students, gather at the CCM house just off campus for an evening of prayer, music, reflection, and friendship. Not to mention a free home-cooked meal! If you're a student looking for a tight-knit community in which to share faith, fellowship, and fun during your years in college, CCM was made just for you!
In addition to the dinner and reflection on Wednesday nights, we have small groups for students to take part in! These offer a smaller, quieter setting in which we can continue to learn about and develop our faith and friendships. These groups include:
-Fishermen Society (Men's Group)
-APPostolic Women (Women's Group)
We offer frequent service and social events such as volunteering at a local daycare center, doing street clean-ups, going on hikes around the area, retreats at Watauga Lake, and Cathflix (movie, snack and game nights). Also, throughout the year, the Diocese of Charlotte offers several retreats that we attend as a group.
Do you play a musical instrument or sing? We'd love for you to join us in making music for Wednesday night meetings or even help out with music at St. Elizabeth during weekend masses!
So, whether you join us just one event a week, or as many as you can, we'd love for you to be a part of our community. For more information about Catholic Campus Ministry, contact us or join our Facebook group! God bless, and from all of us at Appalachian CCM...
Welcome to our family!
