been experimenting with sketchbook pro and it's brushes again, and i've discovered 2 things...i don't think i can live w/o one of the brushes (the one w/ a hard transition on 1/2 and a soft one on the other side) and that i'm seriously disappointed with autodesk. autodesk is a self-identified "leader" in the graphics editing software market. but their commitment to their paid, pro (c'mon, it's in the title!) app leaves much to be desired. i, and my fellow app purchasers, had been waiting, since november of last year, for a stability patch that would return the the app from "toy" to "pro" status again. here's to hoping today's update is just that! lucky for me "he is reason", a fellow procreate user, figured out how to make a decent approximation of my favorite sketchbook "pro" (that's right, autodesk, i'm calling you out again by adding quotes) brush, for procreate. w00t! he was even kind enough to post the alpha and settings, for anyone to recreate this and oher brushes on the procreate brushes flickr group. thanks, "he is reason"! *all on original ipad

I forget who, but someone started a thing where would share your iPad home screen, and i didn't know how to capture it before that. So new thing learned. :) It's Clover looking out the window one day when it was raining. That series of photos is one of my favorites i've ever taken. He hopped up on the footstool i have in front of the window and started moving along the windowsill, trying to see the rain that was happening. So cute. Sadly he passed away a few years ago, just found him dead in the morning. But then i never really knew his age or history, and the vet said he could have just seen a predator out of the window and got scared to death (which can actually happen with them). So yeah, i miss him a ton, but love having these to hold onto. p.s. I know, i need to update a few apps. ;)
