Spending the Night??

We have a few choices in Elroy if you wish to stay overnight:
1. Camping:  The Elroy Lions Club has reserved eight (8) camping sites in the Elroy City Park for Friday night (September 9) until 3:00 on Saturday (September 10).  These sites are right on the side of the race course.  They are electrical sites and cost $28.  They have a fire ring at each site.
NOTE:  There will be one restriction for Saturday.  You will not be allowed to drive your vehicle or camper in or out of your site between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.  These sites are just a few feet from the start/finish lines of the race.  For safety reasons we cannot allow any traffic at these site locations during the race.  If you wish to use your vehicle during the day (for spectating or whatever) you will need to move it a few hundred feet down the park road before 6:30 a.m.  It should not be too much inconvenience for you.
Registration:  These sites are reserved for Apple Dumpling Day participants.  To reserve a site, call the Elroy Commons at 608-462-2410.  They are open Mondays-Thursdays from 10 - 4 and on Fridays-Sundays from 10 - 6.
