This article will go over how you can go about submitting feedback to Apple. Feedback submitted to Apple is reviewed by a live person, but there is no guarantee that you will receive a reply. In fact, a reply is usually not expected. Moving on, to get started submitting feedback, you will need to go to Apple's feedback page, linked below. Product Feedback Go to http://www.apple.com/feedback. You can then select which product your feedback is for: iPod, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, iCloud, etc. Feedback categories also include some accessories, such as the Magic Mouse or AirPort. You may also submit feedback for many apps made by Apple for both iOS (iPod touch's, iPhone's and iPad's operating system) and OS X (Mac operating system). You are required to provide your name, email address and the subject of your feedback. The next field is feedback type. If you are leaving feedback for a device, you will be presented with the options: Enhancement Request, Bug Report, Design/Ease of Use, Efficiency/Workflow, Software/Hardware Compatibility, Connectivity/Inoperability, and Configurability. If you are leaving feedback for an app or feature, you may be presented with different options. Now you are ready to leave your comments. Apple may also ask for other information, such as which operating system you are running, to help them understand your setup. Now you can hit Submit Feedback and your feedback will be reviewed! Apple usually does not reply to feedback, but rest assured it has been read by Apple. Support/Online Feedback If you want to give Apple feedback about their website or support resources, visit http:/apple.com/support/feedback. If you notice an error in a knowledge base article, if you find a broken link in the online store, if the wrong price is displayed, etc., this is the appropriate link to use. Apple Retail Store Feedback If you want to share your experience about a visit to an Apple Retail Store, a recent purchase, or a Genius Bar appointment you had, go to http://apple.com/retail/feedback. You may also receive a survey by email a few days after your visit. Article ID: AA1048 |
