This article will teach you how to delete apps, rearrange apps, group apps into folders, and reinstall apps.

To delete unwanted apps, just hold down your finger on any app icon for a few seconds. The icons should start to shake, and a black "X" (gray
in iOS 7 and later) will appear in the top left corner of the apps. This "X" will only appear over downloaded apps, and the default apps from
Apple that came with the device cannot be deleted.
This black "X" should appear over some apps.
Just tap on the X and confirm that you want to delete the app, and it will be removed. Press the home button to get the apps to stop
shaking and return to normal use.

To rearrange apps, again, you hold your finger down on an icon for a few seconds until they start to shake. You can tap and hold on an app's
icon, and then drag it to the desired position on the screen. To move the app to another page, drag the app as far as you can to the edge of the
screen, then wait a second. It should then go to the next or previous page.
Drag the app to the desired location, and the other apps will be moved over.

Creating folders will work on iOS 4 or later. To place apps in folders, once again, tap and hold on any app icon until they start to jiggle. This time,
drag one app on top of the other, and a folder will automatically be created.

The folder is named based on the categories of the apps you have chosen to place in the folder, but you can customize the name by tapping on
it, and then you will be presented with a keyboard. After the folder is in place, you can tap anywhere outside of the folder to return to the apps
screen, and then drag more apps into the folder. You may have up to 12 apps in a folder, or 16 apps in a folder on an iPad. In iOS 7 and later,
folders can contain an unlimited number of apps, with 9 apps per page.

To reinstall an app, the first step is to delete it, as described at the beginning of this article. After the app is deleted, you can open the App Store
and search for the same app again. Instead of a "BUY NOW" button, you will be presented with an "INSTALL" button since you do not have to
purchase the application twice.

Force Quit Apps
If an application freezes or is not responding, you can force the app to close. To do so, hold the power button until the red slider "Slide to Power
Off" appears. DO NOT slide the slider. Instead, hold the home button for 5 or 6 seconds, and you should be returned to the home screen.
