In USF's Computing, Mobile Apps, and the Web course, a general education (core) course, students with no prior experience create mobile apps and learn the basics of programming. They leverage App Inventor, a visual blocks language that lowers the barriers to learning programming and allows beginners to build interesting apps with real-world utility.
