The application of history, mystic poetry, philosophy, and art to develop a comprehensive understanding of how the gods impact our lives, and aid our spiritual development.
Localized in North Carolina, Apollon's Lyre celebrates the transmission of the worship of hellenic gods [Hellenismos] to the US through resources of tradition and the arts of humanity (science, visual arts, theater, history etc.) Apollon is honored here because as the leader of the Muses, the daughters of Mnemosyne [Memory] and Zeus, he is the god who leads us to memory of the self and spiritual growth and evolution. That self improvement and development is an important part of Hellenismos we can differ from the Delphic Maxims, the philosophers, tragedians, and a large body of myths.
