Recover Apple ID from apple.com/recover

1. Open the web browser and go to apple.com/recover.
2. Click ‘Reset your password’.
3. Enter your Apple ID and click Next.
4. Choose Email authentication or Answer Security Questions and click Next.
5. Click Reset Password in the email, or enter the security questions.
6. Enter a new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
7. Click Reset Password.

1. Choose Apple menu
2. Go to System Preferences
3. Click Apple ID.
4. Click Password & Security.
5. If you’re asked to enter your Apple ID password, click “Forgot Apple ID or password at official website that is apple.com/recover“.
6. Follow the onscreen instructions. You can skip the final steps below.
7. If you’re asked to enter your Apple ID password, click “Forgot Apple ID or password”.
8. Before you can reset your Apple ID password, you’ll be required to enter the password you used to unlock your Mac.
