Lab 1: College Selector

Goals: To write a program using branching (if-else statements)

Overview: A college counseling department is trying to help students in computer science. They have hired you to develop a program which helps students decide which school would be a good fit for them in Computer Science. There are three questions that will help students decide which school they should be attending.

1. How selective the institution is (Tier 1 school vs. Tier 2 school)
2. What size school small (0-8000 students) or large (8,000 and up students)
3. Where the school is located (West Coast vs. East Coast)

What to do: Write a complete application named CollegeSelector.java that will ask the user to answer each of the above questions. The user should be prompted for each question and told what appropriate entries are (1 for Tier I school, 2 for Tier II school, s for small school, l for large school, w for west coast, e for east coast). If appropriate values are entered the program should then print out a list of colleges that meet their entered criteria. Use the table below to help in knowing which colleges to print.
