Educational copying: are the current exceptions fit for purpose?
A seminar on copyright exceptions for educational purposes was held at Victoria University’s Pipitea Campus on 23 August 2016 in RH MZ05 from 12.00 – 1.oopm.
- Associate Professor Susan Corbett, Victoria University of Wellington and General Secretary APCA spoke about the permitted copyright exceptions for education in the Asian Pacific Region.
- Associate Professor Alexandra Sims, Auckland University and APCA President, & Melanie Johnson, Copyright Officer, University of Auckland spoke on the need to update the New Zealand Copyright Act 1994 to reflect technological developments in the exceptions provisions.
