All the problems have been fixed (at least the problems pointed out by the >:3 (>:3 = nitpicking) people). By 2129, the Western United Republic armies in Europe were being pushed to the breaking point by the numerically superior and better armed New Eastern Alliance's soldiers. The last few pockets of resistance in occupied Germany, France, Spain, and southern Turkey were being slowly bombarded into submission by missiles, strike planes, mobile artillery and much more. There were few automatic weapons left for the defenders to use (they were rendered useless by overuse, dirt, and breakages), so they had to resort to using pistols and semi-auto and bolt action rifles. Every day, thousands of rifles were airdropped into these pockets by hundreds of bombers, most of them semi-automatic (for they were easy to clean and hard to break). The Gewehr 143/76 Semi-Automatic Rifle was made for this purpose. It used a Gewehr 43 action, modified slightly to make it both simpler, less delicate, and harder to jam. Most of the forestock was laminated wood, and that was in the best of cases. Many of the rifles were given forestocks made of plastic or any other hard object that was cheapest at the moment of manufacture. The receiver was made of sheet metal, and during the worst of times, it was spot-welded on.

Up front: a .22, back right: .45, back left: .40. The floor was littered in bullet casings, so I picked up a few as souveniers. People were asked (by signs on all the walls) to clean up their casings afterwards. As the casings flew all over the place (and then rolled around) when they were forcibly ejected from the semi-automatic pistols, they just cleared up the casings that happened to be near their booth.
