On Saturday June 2, 2012 the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine will host the regional conference which will bring together medical students in APAMSA from across the region and allow for collaboration of ideas and meaningful discussion with current leaders in healthcare.
The theme of the regional conference will be the disparity between the lack of research on
Asian health and the high prevalence of Asian physicians and researchers. It is our hope that by
bringing together our peers from regional APAMSA chapters, we can shed new light on this issue,
while also establishing stronger connections amongst our chapters and keynote Asian physicians.
We will then bring a fresh new perspective to share with our peers across the country at the
national APAMSA conference this Fall.
