I am joining the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) as an Assistant Professor in July 2013I completed my PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia in summer 2010. Prof. Mary Lou Soffa and Prof. Kim Hazelwood were my PhD advisors. After graduation, I worked for a year at Intel Santa Clara. Next, I was a postdoc at the LSSG lab and Systems group at the University of Chicago, under the leadership of Prof. Andrew Chien.

My areas of interest include compilers and computer architecture. Specifically, I am interested in architectures, programming languages and compilers for energy-efficient exascale computing. I am also interested in dynamic binary translation, runtime/virtual execution environments, hypervisors, co-designed virtual machines, dynamic optimization and dynamic profiling.

For prospective students: If your research interests match mine, feel free to contact me about possible research projects.
