For prospective students: If your research interests match mine, feel free to contact me about possible research projects.
I am joining the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) as an Assistant Professor in July 2013. I completed my PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia in summer 2010. Prof. Mary Lou Soffa and Prof. Kim Hazelwood were my PhD advisors. After graduation, I worked for a year at Intel Santa Clara. Next, I was a postdoc at the LSSG lab and Systems group at the University of Chicago, under the leadership of Prof. Andrew Chien.
My areas of interest include compilers and computer architecture.
Specifically, I am interested in architectures, programming languages
and compilers for energy-efficient exascale computing. I am also
interested in dynamic binary translation, runtime/virtual execution
environments, hypervisors, co-designed virtual machines, dynamic
optimization and dynamic profiling.
