I joined IIIT Delhi as an Assistant Professor in July 2013. I completed my PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia in summer 2010. Prof. Mary Lou Soffa and Prof. Kim Hazelwood were my PhD advisors. After graduation, I worked for a year at Intel Santa Clara. Next, I was a postdoc at the LSSG lab and Systems group at the University of Chicago, under the leadership of Prof. Andrew Chien.
My main research interests are in the areas of high-performance computing and energy-efficient computing. Many new problems are emerging in these areas due to recent developments such as the end of Moore’s Law. The response to this phenomenon ranges from multicore architectures to specialized and reconfigurable architectures. I am interested in applying compiler technology for enhancing the programmability and usability of these platforms.
