Open Hive Demonstrations 2015
LEON COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE
Since May 2011, we have had two beehives at the location of our monthly meetings (Leon County Agriculture Extension Office) The hives were donated by Bob Livingston and he did the work on getting them in place with a nice fence. Thanks Bob!!
We open them one time a month (the Tuesday of our monthly meeting at 5:30 pm) during daylight savings time. Please bring your veil to the demonstrations. If you would like to sign up to lead one of the demonstrations (you can be a beginner beekeeper to do this!) click on the link below and sign up online. We need one leader, and one co-leader for each open hive session. Thank you.
