What is the importance of  Social Studies?
Social studies basically equip American citizens with knowledge about the world, nation and society around them, through the help of other disciplines as well such as political science, history, economics, religion, geography, anthropology, as well as psychology. With such we may better understand and make informed decisions about civic issues that affect us as all, especially when you grow older. Such issues include health care, crime, migration, foreign policy, and the like.

Our goal is to take a look at the Eastern Hemisphere in 7th Grade...
How can we do that?

Maps, Globe, Textbooks, Media, Atlas, Internet, Graphs, what else?

  • Oceans
  • Prime Meridian

  • Tropic of Capricorn
  • Arctic Circle
  • Antarctic Circle
