Accommodating Students Upto 10th Std.

A Separate School “SAUSHEELYA” Has Come Up For The Mentally
Handicapped Children.

AEJC ground :

The Ground Was Renovated For The National Women’s Football Tournament. Large Cemented Steps Were Made On The Right Side Of This Ground as a Seating Arrangement For The Spectators.

AECS no. 1 ground :

Recently, A Wall Has Been Constructed On All The Four Sides Of This
Ground, With Two Entrance Gates : One Opposite AECS No. 1 & The Other Opposite VINDHYA “C” Building.  As a result, people can no longer use this ground as a shortcut to GODAVARI building.

This Ground’s History :

A Large Screen Used To Be Put Up In This Ground For Screening Hindi
Films During The Ganesh Festival. Events Like Ramlila, Ravan Dahan
During Dussehra, The Burning Of Holi Fire,  & Ayappa Pooja Used To Be
Conducted On This Ground. Elephant is no longer brought inside the
colony for the Ayappa Pooja Procession.


Apart From The ARWA Crèche, A New Crèche Building Has Come Up Near AECS No. 4, Called KILBIL.

This is the place where people sit and gaze at the pond.

The area around the pond has become surrounded by large trees. The waterfall is not clearly visible these days.

Kattas for Secondary School students-  This is hangout beside the pond on the road from the college towards Tapti building. 

 You can see the BARC bus on the left, coming from the college, going towards Tapti.

 As you look inside towards the enterance. In the afternoon, during monsoons, this place is used for the NCC practice drills. In the evening, kids have their dance lessons at the end of this enterance.

The School timings of Atomic Energy Junior College are as s follows. The college has the timings from 7.25 AM to 1.35 PM with a break of 30 minutes duration from 9.15 AM to 9.45 AM and a short break from 11.30 AM to 11.35 AM.

The office timing for the students from 9.15 to 9.40 AM, 11.25 to 11.40 AM and 1.30 PM to 2.30 PM.

Every day consist of nine periods and each period of 35 minutes duration. The school works for six days per week except second saturday.

Rules and Regulations

Uniform (see above for updates (Aug 10th 2008)

  1. BOYS: White shirt (Half sleeves, inserted), grey trousers, white socks and white canvas/black leather shoes and black belt.
  2. GIRLS: White salwar and grey kurta with chunni (Duppatta) white socks and white canvas/black leather shoes.


  1. Whenever a student enters the college campus, he/she should be in full college uniform only.
  2. Woolen garments should be of navy blue colour only.
  3. Dress regulations of the college should be strictly observed
  4. A student failing to attend the college in the prescribed unifom WILL NOT be permitted to attend the classes and there is every possibility of losing his/her attendance on this score.
  5. Chappals and sandals are strictly prohibited.
  6. During monsoon (duration will be announced by the college authorities) rainy footwear allowed.
