"To Drink Coffee"
I don’t produce anything, I don’t serve to anyone, I don’t use to disturb somebody. I make websites. I feel sleepy very much. As if consciousness is escaping somewhere into the dark. That man is here again. Reading a newspaper. I’ll stay here for a while. It’s necessary to collect my thoughts. I may be here as much as I like. I wonder what time will be enough? I arranged ash-tray, sugar bowl and the prop with the tea-cloths on the table, put the cup of tea right in front of myself. Girls at the next table are drinking wine from huge glasses. The notion that there is nowhere to hurry up is making me to feel cosy. I want in Moscow wood very much. Tea has got cold, it remains a little at the bottom. I will be here for some time more. I am to bring order to my life, to have a clear-up of the things. To take away hard confines. My home is where I’am right now. I don’t need any more. Crikey, that guy is here too. I’m even glad to see him. But this is breaking my solitude, and now it’s outside my plans. I’m sitting uncommon – looking along the tables, sitting on one side, and the girl was sitting in front of me, on the other side of the hall. When she turned out to be there? I have not noticed. I ordered viennese coffee. This guy is somewhat smiling all along. And smoking his cigars again. Viennese coffee is very strong and very nice. And again, the guy is writing something. Maybe, he is a writer?? However… after all I’m writing too. Coffee is very strong. Will try to describe the place, where I am. Quite spacious hall with the exit straight to the street. Main colors – brown and orange. The ceiling, the tables, the seats covered with leather, and the chairs are all brown. The lamps, short thick pursed curtains, hanging on the walls under the ceiling, crimped cloth of the round lampshade around two brick columns in the middle of the hall – these are orange. Around the columns under the shade the clocks of different fashions and sizes are hanged out – from alarm clocks with two small things on the top to big wooden clocks with pendulum, of brown wood. Alarm clocks are hanging on crimped laces. However the clocks are of two types only - alarm clocks and with pendulum… Yes. The tables are small, square along the walls and round in the center of the hall. Along the perimeter the photographs by Gleb Sadov are hanging. I don’t know who Gleb Sadov is, but the chalk inscription on the black wall behind the counter is an evidence of the fact that these photographs are made by himself. On the same wall prices for house drinks are wrote with white and pink crayons. In the corner the chalky face drinking coffee is hiding, and an arm is getting down one more cup from heavens. Generally, the presence of clocks is not accidental. On the signboard of the house an alarm clock is drawn and it depicted an inscription: “To Drink Coffee”. Which I naturally explain as “time to drink coffee”. Well! On the way to toilet I noticed that the guy is writing something not in the notebook, but on the orange bill of “To Drink Coffee”. With small hand. My curiosity became stronger. Opposite there are two girls looking bored. On their table there are two huge glasses with something red-orange-icy. They are sitting by the window, and that glasses make up an amazing still life. I am feasting my eyes upon it for a while. In the meanwhile people have been arriving. It was getting hot. Intimacy and calm have been changed with muted buzz and unhurried movements of people. From my point of view the only disadvantage of this place is that smoking is allowed here. The glasses on the girls’ table have lost their orangeness and remained just red. With tubules stuck up from them. It remains not too many free tables – only two or tree. The girl near me is waiting for her order. Casting a glance at me. They have brought her a cup of coffee and she began to sip it. Almost right away they’ve brought a salad. She dryed her lips neatly, holding a tea-cloth with both hands. I made for the door. The guy-“writer” made so too. I came first, so I hold the door for him. “Thank you”, he said. I looked back at him with a smile and went out. Certainly I will come back soon. I like it here.
Stunning and unique Lucite, acrylic coffee table base with thick glass top. The table has graceful Asian inspired curved legs and measures 48” square. A true chic focal point that will be the conversation piece of any room. The style lends itself to many decors. Asian, contemporary, modern, etc. There are a few scratches on one of the legs which is why it is priced as such. It does not detract from the simple elegance of this piece.
