I spoke to my sister about my cryings over a movie which is unusal for me really. And said I don' t know why my heart is also beating weirdly:) She was enjoying her tea at the time she sipped and said, Your condition is natural, you since your date is near.. she paused for other sip and I was like :~O how does she so sure my date is near? I was just going to say hey it's already pas... but she continued you know your court date on June 6th:-/ and I laughed out loud at what the hell I was thinking about:D and she meant other date. then I realized yes from a week or so whenever i am waking up just one thing I have in my mind judge's words, " you are not doing any thing for your children, only he is working." I was willing to say, :" your honor I was willing to do what I was doing as a married mother, After divorce you guys were not agree to give me this chance so what can I do. What you want from this mother that is hardest thing for her to do now.' But I remember in 2008 the day i screamed out in court i had kind of stroke at the day when after 3 to 6 hours of vomiting and feeling like my body s going to explode and feelings were just like some one is squeeze my heart very hardly & harshly. I remember my mother was here at that time and seeing her worry i was just not feeling well and I thought what gonna happen to me if wouldn't have my mom here? Ahh at a moment tired of throwing out I have felt today is my last day I have to call 911. What happen to me I have thought yes in court? yes when judge says " In the event of full time job mother shall have two days 6 hours visit from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM . Part time job ka swal hi paida nahi hota danda tu full time ka de rakah tha os waqat. I just looked at her and scream out loud " Your honor I am the victim of domestic violence and all the police reports and his conviction is in the court record, and you are treating me as an abuser restricting me to see my kids?? :~O Judges answer was I was not the judge when the court give him the custody but now you are the judge and I am just asking just one overnight instead of there hours a day. I have visitation without job from 3 to 6 pm and it is 15 hours in a week I am asking give me 12 hours instead ( at that time I was in school at night and my classes were 4 days in a week from 6;30 to 10:00PM. so I was thinking I have one night free if they give me the kids for that night there will not e any problem and still I will have less hours. I was just requesting to give me kids if I would have a job from 6:00PM to 9:00AM between Tuesday and Wednesday. I have them over night during two weekends so nothing is wrong for this request but Judge was saying FATHER is not agree so if father is not agree, And he has primary custody judge has to be agree or in favor of father not mother I got this message. Since I have told her a case on point that higher courts decided that a judge can make decision if both parents have custody without going to mediation and other process and I found out that it should be me who must obey the father of my children. Then I said, " your honor I am surprised in this country judges are caring about bugs and beetle a lot(I knew about a case where court has decided that building of a college will not be built since there is a creek which habitat of insects so their life cycle will be destroyed) So I asked her why do guys think that a mother is not important for her children? Just her job is important. That judge has written in her last judgement that mother can leave the kids with baby sitter or father can take care of them. Court is just worried why she is not going to get a job when we are treating her a man she must be a man now. But this woman was not able to be a man after becoming a mother:D I have said Your honor if you are saying it is about equal rights I am saying ask him to drain blood from his body as much as blood was drained from my body when I have gave birth his two living children and five (5) other pregnancies three miscarriages, one tubal pregnancy) I have two kids out of Seven (7) pregnancies and you are saying I should not have to see them?I said i am saying all these things because I believe you law interpreters and law makers need to think if bugs & beetles habitat is important why in a human society you are saying mother not need to look after her children just have a job and baby sitter will take care of her child will be good for this society? and why you guys did allow me to have children when I did not have a job?? Now after divorce all of a sudden with out job i am not credible?? I was credible when I was giving birth them without job? I just remember these dialogs from that day other I just forgot some of them :D I think that day i did not cry I just screamed and left the court, drove my car to home quietly asked my mom to let me sleep don't wake me up if you want to eat anything eat I don't I just wan to sleep for a while. Unless you change and become like little children...
This is my 2 years old niece, Lulu (that’s her nickname), whom I love A LOT! She is the sweetest little thing I have ever seen! She is an amazingly good girl (but she does manage to get her rights and justice! LOL!). Of course, I have no experience with portrait photography, but I do manage my way around Gimp, so this photo went through a rigorous Gimp tutorial that took me through over 30 steps to finally be able to bring the highlights and shadows to balance. I took this photo of her last Saturday on her second birthday. I’ve always loved children, but who doesn’t? Children also love me (generally speaking!) Children generally love my dad’s side of the family for many reasons: first, they are very humble, they are non-competitive, always smiling, never curse or say negative words, never put anybody down, and they are extremely easy going and peaceful. Of course children love that! (Adults on the other hand, especially women, are usually turned off by our character. I’ve heard many instances when women say that men who are peaceful, don’t take revenge or get their way anyway they can, play with kids, non-competitive, joke, don’t smoke (yes, you read it right!), or easy going are not men at all! I however think a real man is someone who is like Joseph, Daniel, Job, Paul, and the one and only our Lord Jesus Christ.) In my teens, I would say around the age of 14, all my friends kind of “grew up” and started spending their time chasing girls, watching immoral movies, smoking, etc, so I was kind of left alone all of sudden. I mean, one year we were playing soccer, table tennis, foosball, and video games together, and the next year they had completely different interests. So somehow all the kids of the neighbourhood started hanging around me; by kids I mean 5-12 years old! I would teach them to draw, build stuff, help them with their school work, play soccer together, teach them how to take penalty kicks, how to be a good goalie, which part of the foot to use for free-kicks, tell them stories, advice them to keep away from outsiders (people who are not from the neighbourhood). And they loved it! I mean, in Iraq parents don’t spend time playing with their kids because some have way too many kids and the living conditions were hard so they spent all their time trying to provide for their kids. So I think kids loved that someone older was actually interested in their talents, and daily activities. I remember one day an 8 years old neighbour’s son came asking me to cut a piece of paper for him using the scissor and so I did and I asked him why didn’t he cut it, and he answered that he doesn’t know how to use scissors. Because back home we don’t throw things away as they get older, they become harder (and trickier!) to use after a while; for example, scissors become loose and require more pressure to make them cut. So I asked him if he would like to learn, and he said that they tried to teach him at home but he still can’t, and he was about to leave. Then I told him, “Let me try to teach you, there is nothing to lose by trying again!” So I explained to him that the screw that holds the two sharp edges of the scissor is loose, and for the scissor to cut the two sharp edges have to come in contact together: so he can’t simply just close the edges for the scissor to cut, but he also has to use his thumb to put pressure on one edge to bring it in contact with the other so they grind against each other, and showed him how. After a couple tries he cut his first paper and he was so happy! He went home running, and came later so happy and thanked me telling me that his mom says “Thank you!” I don’t think there is a feeling equals putting a smile on a child’s face. Another friend who was only 2 years younger than me decided to take art lessons because he enjoyed my drawing a lot, and within 2 weeks he could draw so beautifully! He obviously had the talent, and he just needed a motivation. Other kids would bring me their broken toys and I would fix them for them. I also tried to instil peace among each other, because life is not fun nor fulfilling when we hate each other and desire to do them harm. When we, the neighbourhood kids, used to play soccer all the little kids wanted to be on my team and I would choose them. They didn’t like being yelled at and put down for playing a sport so they wanted to be on my team—I guess being non-competitive pays off sometimes. In Canada it is kind of the opposite: some (and I emphasis SOME) parents are so interested in their kids lives that they are choking the fun out of sports, and art! I can still remember last summer when I was playing soccer with my cousin and nephew in the park, and this dad was playing (rather “instructing”!) soccer with his sons: one was about 7 years old and the other was about 5 years old. The older son was a bit chubby and seemed uninterested in the sport (at least the competitive side of it), while the younger son absolutely loved it. And for about a

This Giving Birth: Pregnancy and Childbirth in American Women's Writing
Compelling essays which underline the central place pregnancy and childbirth hold in women’s writing. Embracing three centuries of prose and poetry, the anthology traces the evolution of American maternity literature, exploring the difficulties mothers faced as they struggled to transform themselves from objects into maternal subjects. Women as diverse as Anne Bradstreet, Anne Sexton, Sharon Olds, Kate Chopin, Toni Morrison, and Louise Erdrich all labored to reclaim the birthing process by giving voice to experiences and emotions long devalued by a patriarchal culture. Their voices resonate throughout this collection.
