A galician working with photons in south east asia

I am a experimental physicist working at the National University of Singapore (NUS). My area of research is the broad field of quantum information and specifically optical implementations of quantum protocols. See my research page for more information on the projects I am involved with.

Apart from research, I teach a course for non physicists modestly called "Great Ideas in Contemporary Physics" and I supervise first year undergraduate labs in the Physics deparment.

When I am not at work I can be spotted on a black Vespa on my way to see a non-intellectually demanding movie (NIC) or on my way to eat some raw fish.
