WELCOME!

We are excited for this school year's 2016 - 2017 basketball season! Our main goal is to help our girls become better ball players and to help them succeed not only on the court but in school and life too.

To help build our basketball program, we have created this new Parent Portal site to host any information you may need to know about the teams. We also conduct our fundraising with the Center HS Boosters Club to help grow funds in our program.

Any information that you see on here, please feel free to contact any of the coaches for more details. Their bios are in the Coaches' Corner to the left <-----

Terry Howell:
Coach Howell was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. After considering letters for college football, he chose the Air Force. 23 years later of active duty and Cal Air National Guard, he retired with the rank of Master Sergeant.

His coaching career began when he decided to coach basketball for rec league. His other coaching credentials include: Sunday at Foothill Youth, Junior Cougar Football, Center Girls' Basketball, and he assisted with Center High School's JV Softball. He had 3 children graduate from Center HS; all of them played sports of some kind. He has been married for 26 years and lives and plays in Antelope.

Kei Quinley:

My name is Lawrence Quinley, but most people know me as "Coach Kei.”  From 1986 to 1990, I attended Highlands High School in North Highlands, CA. While there, I was a 4-sport athlete. Then, I attended Sacramento City College for 2 years, while also playing football there.

For the next phase of my life, I began a coaching career starting at San Juan High School in Citrus Heights, CA. I coached football there for 13 years. I also coached football at lnderkum High School in Natomas for 6 years. My basketball coaching experience includes 3 years at Highlands High School for the boys’ varsity team. In 2002, we were the section champion runner ups. I then decided to take my passion for coaching basketball to the girls’ side, where I'm now in my eighth year as an Assistant Varsity Coach for Center High School in Antelope, CA.

Coaching for all of these years has taught me so much; not just about myself but about the game. My goal is to spread my passion to anybody that I teach. A quote that is part of my coaching philosophy is "You miss every shot you don't take." If my players play hard and play with passion for the game then it makes my job as a coach worth every minute.

David Oill:

I am a married father of four children, a girl and three boys. Growing up and being raised in Long Island, NY was very cold, so I moved to California to get away from the snow and cold. I have been a resident of Sacramento, CA. for 20+ years.

I am a motivated, self-employed worker for 20+ years. In my spare time, I have been an Assistant Coach to Center High School’s baseball team of all levels for several years. For the last two years, I have also assisted the Freshman and JV Girls’ Basketball teams.

For fun … I like to run, and I have completed more than a dozen marathons and an ultra.
