The blog is an eclectic assortment of activities, family history and interests.

Nowadays the Anslow Blog also includes our travels in our Motorhome, a IVECO Sunliner Swift S441.

Some are day trips, a few days and others much longer such as the Victorian trip.

Longer trips are planned.

Paul and Heathers Excellent Adventure

Our Trip West was meant to be a 4 night trip visiting Jerry's Plains, Mendooran, Gilgandra, Hickeys Fall, Narrabri returning home through Baan Baa, Willow Tree and home to Largs via the New England Highway. It was way too ambitious and was extended to 5 nights which was still too short to see and experience what the area has to offer.

Old and more recent times

Anything that is tagged Family History in the Anslow Blog is featured here. Old Family photos. My families immigration to Australia. A little history on those who served. A photo of Paul holding a monkey, or is it a photo of two monkeys? A giant sculpture named after my great uncle. A family connection to a famous painter and more!

A two week trip through part of NSW and VIC

The purpose of this trip was to attend Antennapalooza and enjoy some of the sights on the way down and on return and was our first long trip in the motorhome. We fond some beautiful places to free camp and spent one night at a paid site on the water at Mallacoota. Our weekend camp at Drouin West with Ian and Di was excellent, too!
