Positions

We are always looking for talented and enthusiastic postdocs, Stanford graduate and undergraduate students interested in computational biology and applied machine learning.

We are a purely computational (dry) lab. We collaborate extensively with other scientists who perform experiments. However, at the moment, we are not recruiting students with wet-lab skills alone.

Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Prospective graduate students interested in joining the lab should apply directly to the Genetics Department, the Computer Science Department or the interdisciplinary Biomedical Informatics Program.
Interested Stanford undergraduate and graduate students must be minimally proficient in programming and have a strong computational/mathematical background.
If interested please send an email to Anshul Kundaje (akundaje @ stanford dot edu) including your CV (with references) and a brief Research Statement with your background and interests.

Postdoc positions

Postdoc applicants are expected to have a strong background in machine learning/statistics AND/OR substantial experience analyzing large genomic datasets.
If interested please send an email to Anshul Kundaje (akundaje @ stanford dot edu) including your CV (with references) and a brief Research Statement with your background and interests.

High School Students and Summer interns

We also usually have unpaid internships for 2-3 talented high school students over the summers.
