Kheema

  1. Combine
    1. 1/2 kilo of lamb or chicken mince
    2. 1 cup finely chopped or grated onions
    3. 1 tablesp crushed garlic
    4. 3 tablespoons oil or ghee
  2. Microwave 10 mins on HI (Keep Open)
    1. Every 3 mins pause and loosen it up so it doesnt lump
  3. Remove from microwave and throw water away
  4. Combine
    1. One can of peeled and chopped tomatoes (450 gm)
    2. 2 cloves
    3. 4 pepper corns
    4. 1 bay leaf
    5. 2 black cardomom
    6. 2 cm cinnamon
    7. 1/2 teaspoon black cumin seeds (shah jeera)
    8. 2 teaspoon mince ginger
    9. 3 tea spoons oil
  5. Combine everything and mix and COVER and microwave 10 mins on HIGH
    1. Stir every 5 mins
  6. Combine
    1. 1/4 cup (2 tbspoons) thick yoghurt
    2. 1 teaspoons coriander power
    3. 1 teaspoons cumin powder
    4. 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
    5. 2 slit green chillies
  7. Cover and microwave on high for 10 mins
  8. Combine
    1. 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
    2. 1/2 cup thawed frozen peas
    3. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
    4. 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
    5. 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
  9. Add, cover and cook for 5 mins
  10. Add salt to taste
