I am currently a happy camper (a.k.a, research developer) at Microsoft Research, Redmond Labs.
I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder, working on swarm robotics under Dr. Nikolaus Correll. My research interests include distributed task-assignment algorithms for multi-agent systems and collaboration algorithms for robot swarms. I enjoy making robots do things together because, honestly... how else does anyone expect them to take over the world? After all, there's no i(Robot) in team!
Having received a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, with minors in Mathematics and Astronomy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010, I moved on to work on an exciting project at Wolfram Research Inc.—The Mathematica/Wolfram Alpha guys—for a few months before starting my graduate career at CU Boulder and subsequently moving to Microsoft upon graduation.
