Welcome to the
Hall's Croft Home Page
Hall's Croft, in the delightful Lancashire village of Trawden, has been the home of Ann for almost 30 years. Her son, Tom, grew up here, but now lives with his wife in San Francisco. Ann's husband, Neil, is the 'new kid on the block' whose work keeps him 'Down South' during the week ..... and not forgetting Fergus their lazy ginger cat who ruled the roost for 17 years and is now resting peacefully under the pear tree in the sunniest part of the garden.
Trawden is on the outskirts of Colne, in the borough of Pendle. Famous for, amongst other things:
The Pendle Witches
Wallace Hartley, the bandleader who played as the Titanic went down
The annual Rythym & Blues festival
Wycoller Hall - Ferndean Manor in Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre
Boundary Mill stores
Being somewhat 'out on a limb', Trawden has managed to retain its unique village identity. The Church, School, post office, doctor's surgery, library, community centre and of course the pub, are all important elements in this close knit community.
