College of Medicine, Tampa, FL June 15, 2007-present - In this managerial position I am
responsible for the residents and fellows graduate medical
education. In this position I manage the
day-to-day compliance of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical
Education, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and USF GME policies and procedures. My duties include but
are not limited to: managing
payroll,budgets, data collection and
reporting, accreditation maintenance, resident recruitment, evaluation and
assessment, credentialing, education curriculum development, generate and
distribute schedules, research assistance, coordinate resident functions, provide leadership develop educational programs, activities, and
act as a liaison between all the Tampa Bay hospitals and attendings.
Clinical Office Manager, Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, FL Jan 05-June 07 - This was a managerial position in which I organized office
operations and procedures, prepared payroll, controlled correspondence,
reviewed and approved supply, oversaw
billing, coding, transcriptions, and collections, supervised and maintained
office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and
physicians.
Medical
Event Planner, Moffitt Cancer Center,
Tampa, FL Jan 00-Jan 2007 - This position entailed managing national
conferences and developing accredited CME programs. Logistics included building community
relationships, networking with pharmaceutical companies and societies, programming, and advocacy for
educational oncology events. A major responsibility included fund development
and budget management. A large part of event planning involved writing goals
and objectives, strategic plans, policies, procedures, and institutional goals.
