Mikhail and Freydis hosted this meeting at their new place behind the post office, and walked everyone through the setting up of a large Norse pavilion.

They've had it for years but are doing repairs to get it ready for use again this season. We had a very good turn-out, with two new faces also interested in the Norse. Good timing, guys!

Almaric and his family were at Middleground over the weekend and told us all about it: The site, also, had more camping space than it had seemed from the website, and the weather was warmer than expected, which is a nice surprise.

Also discussed was everything from making garb to bows, as well as an in-depth discussion, led by Mikhail, of the structure and utility of Norse tents in general, and the reasoning behind the design of this one in particular.

They filmed the set-up, but the sound isn't good and they plan to re-film. Meanwhile, if anyone else has any footage or pics of the erection of the tent, they would be glad to get a copy.
