Hey visitor! 

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. I work in the area of renewable energy integration into the power grid, with focus on enabling high penetration of distributed energy resources (DERs) into the grid such as electric vehicles, solar PV, storage. My research focuses on enabling decentralization of the electric energy access through microgrids, transactive control, distribution systems operation and control, grid-forming IBR controls,  and energy equity. 

I did my B.Tech. from IIT Delhi (2009-2013) and earned my PhD in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, USA (2013-2018). Before joining IIT Delhi, I worked as a Power System Researcher at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Washington, USA  (2019 to 2022).
