I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata. Previously, I was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) in the Chair of Mathematical Statistics headed by Prof. Victor M. Panaretos. I received my Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in December, 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Probal Chaudhuri. Here is the link to my Ph.D. thesis. I obtained my Bachelor of Science (Statistics) degree from the University of Calcutta in 2006 and my Master of Statistics degree from the Indian Statistical Institute in 2008. Prior to joining the Indian Statistical Institute as a Ph.D. student in 2010, I worked as part of the Business Intelligence Unit of Barclays Bank, Mumbai, from 2008 to 2009.
