Anh (Paul) Nguyen

Anh (Paul) Nguyen is reading for an MBA (Class of 2018) at the London Business School (UK). His main interests are digital strategy, data and analytics at scale. Currently, he's also been with Marketing Analytics team at Expedia ( in London. Prior to LBS, Paul was with the Credit Risk Modelling, Risk Portfolio Management of the OCBC Group in Singapore from 2012 to 2016. His core expertise included Risk Analytics and Modeling, including credit scorecards, Basel-II/III PD/LGD/EAD parameters and IFRS9 Expected Credit Loss models, for Consumer & SME financing in Singapore and Malaysia. Paul earned his PhD and BEng in Computer Engineering from NTU, Singapore in 2013 and 2008. He and his PhD advisers co-developed a novel brain-inspired memory model for topics in robotic navigation, hand-sign language interpretation and speech recognition. Paul first-authored research articles in top-tiered journals and conferences and has been invited for review for IEEE TNNLS, T-SMC, and Neurocomputing. A Vietnamese national, he is a fan of The Beatles and a lover of Murakami's novels and Yoga. He speaks Vietnamese (native), English and a bit of Spanish.
