Office hours: Tuesday 12:00-14:00 in LSK300C and Friday 15:00-16:00 LSK300B. Otherwise make an appointment by email.
Assessment and Graded scheme
Your final mark is calculated as follows
- 50% = final exam (December)
- 30% = two in class midterm tests
- 10% = Webwork
- 10% = extra homework
If you are forced to miss assessment due to illness then we need to be notified within 72 hours. When you are healthy again we can discuss re-weighting your marks. We will need to see original written documentation in the form of a letter from your doctor. If you do not follow these guidelines, then a score of zero will be given for the missed assessment.
Midterm and Exam
Two midterms will take place.
- October 4th.
- November 8th.
The day of the final exam will be announced in the middle of October.

- The 1st assignment is available here now. The deadline is on 8th October at 1pm. The answers have to be submitted through Canvas. You can find the solutions here.
