Pugs do not like to be lonely.  They love attention and companionship.  I noticed one day that Ozzie was bored and lonely since I was not home as much to play with him.  In April 2004, Chico became the new member of our household.  He was very tiny and shy.  It did not take me too long to come up with a name for him.  I decided to name him "Chico", which means small in Spanish.  As soon as Chico came along, Ozzie became more energetic and playful.  Also, it was interesting to notice that Ozzie was teaching Chico the dos and the don’ts, such as marking in certain places, leaving his toys out in the yard and learning how to behave at times, especially when it came to snacks.  Chico was a great addition to our family.

Ironically, Chico means small, but Chico is not small anymore he is big.  In fact, he is bigger than Ozzie.  Ozzie was so happy to have a brother.  I am glad to have him as part of our family.  Now, I have two pugs that are loyal to me and humor me in many ways.  They are well behave when they want to be and know when they are doing wrong.  Check out their outfits on the next page...
