This Tutorial was written by myself on the 27th Feb 2009, Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidence,

This tutorial may look tricky with the animation bit, but please believe me its alot easier than it looks lol, or you could substitute the animation part if you are not comfortable with animation, with a picture instead and still come out with a lovely tag.

Anything you make from using this tutorial is yours, but please do not sell it as this is against my TOU's, I write these tutorials for your own pleasure not for profit.

Hope you enjoy doing this Tutorial, Hugs Ann xx

Supplies Needed :~

Scrapkit I used was Farmyard Frolics

this kit was made by myself, and can be purchased from ~

My Blog ~ Angelic Scraps

or

one of the stores I sell at, links to them can be found through my blog

Template ~ I Used one of the wonderful templates by Dee of Creative Delusionz Scraps, TagTemplate1_TBD, I have provided the template for download, to make it easier for you all as I have altered it slightly, to check out the original and the rest of her wonderful stuff go to her site http://creativedelusionzscraps.blogspot.com/

Paint Shop Pro & Animation Shop

Font of Choice ~ I used Aramis but im afraid I cannot supply this

Altered Template Download ~ HERE

Right now lets Begin ~

1. Open up the Template in your PSP

2. Now we need to complete the rectangles on the template, I used a selection of different papers from my kit, but you can use whichever you wish.

If you want the same ones that I used you will need to use the following for each rectangle ~

Strip 1 ~ Paper 9

Wordart Tab ~ Same paper but colourised to a Dusky Pink Colour

Large Rectangle 2 ~ Paper 5

Small Rectangle ~ Paper 12

Large Rectangle 1 ~ Paper 11

Top Grey ~ Paper 2

Or if using your own, pick out 6 Papers and open them up in psp

3. Select copy on your first paper choice, and starting with Strip 1 (which is the top layer), click on it in your Layer Pallette.

4. Go to Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat, Paste your paper as a New Layer, Go to Selections, Invert, and hit delete once on your Keyboard, Deselect, Delete the template layer you just used, and you may now close the paper as you will not need it again.

5. Do the same for each Rectangle using a different paper each time, until all rectangles have been used.

6. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Floral Doodle as a new layer, move it over to the left and move the layer down under the strip layer (see example tag for placement).

7. Copy and paste the Farmyard Frolics Silver Paw Doodle, Resize it by 65%, and move it across so it is placed over the strip layer (see example tag for placement).

8. Open up the Farmyard Frolics Country Fence Frame, Paste it as a New layer, Use my example tag for reference on where to position it.

9. With your Magic Wand click inside the centre of the frame, go to selections, modify, expand by 15, copy and paste paper 8 or one of your choice as a new layer, go to selections, invert, hit delete once on your keyboard, deselect, and move below your frame layer.

10. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Grass as a new layer, Resize it to 50%, Duplicate the grass and move the duplicated layer across, so they line up next to each other along the bottom of the frame (see example tag for placement), move this layer down so it is under your frame, erase any excess showing out the sides of the frame.

11. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Beige Tag as a New layer, Resize by 60%, move it over to the left and up (see example tag for placement).

12. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Rooster Brad as a New layer, Resize by 60%, move it over to the left and to the top (see example tag for placement).

13. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Button 1 as a New layer, Resize by 35%, move it up to where the rectangles join (see example tag for placement).

14. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Fun on the Farm Wordart as a New layer, Resize by 65%, move it over to the left slightly and up (see example tag for placement).

15. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Sunflower as a New layer, move it over to the right and up slightly so its sitting on the top right of the frame (see example tag for placement).

16. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Brown Eyelet Tie as a New layer, Resize by 50%, Free Rotate Right 25 Degrees, move it over to the right and up slightly so its holding the sunflower in place (see example tag for placement).

17. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Orange Butterfly as a New layer, Resize by 35%, Free Rotate Left 25 Degrees, move it over to the right and up to place it on the sunflower.

18. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Percy Pig as a New layer, Resize by 48%, and place him so he is sitting at the bottom of the strip layer.

19. Copy and Paste the Farmyard Frolics Daisy Duck as a New layer, Resize by 38%, and place her so she is standing to the bottom right of the frame.

20. Add a Light Drop Shadow to all Layers, I used the Settings of ~

Vertical ~ 1

Horizontal ~ 1

Opacity ~ 35

Blur ~ 5

Colour ~ 0a0a09

21. Add all Copyright to your tag

If you do not wish to Animate your tag, you could at this point add a tube or picture into the frame, crop off the excess white around your tag, resize and save, and thankyou for trying my tut.

If you wish to Animate your Tag as I did please Continue on....

Onto the Animation ~

22. Copy and Paste your Tractor as a New Layer, I also popped the Farmer into the Tractor but this is purely personal choice, if you do so though please make sure the farmer and tractor are merged to one layer, this is very important as will make it an awful lot easier to only animate with the one layer, Resize it by 42%.

23. Move the tractor layer down so it is below the frame layer, and position the tractor right at the edge of the frame so you can only see the very tip of the tractor coming into the frame, it will also help you with keeping the animation straight if you place its wheels on the bottom of the frame so you have a straight line to follow.

24. Right Now we need to do some erasing on the tractor layer, using your Selection Tool, set on Rectangle, Mode ~ Add (Shift), Feather 0, Draw a rectangle around any part of the tractor that is showing to the right of the frame, so the only bit of the tractor that should be showing is the little bit of it that is showing inside the frame, Hit Delete on your Keyboard this will get rid of any excess showing, Deselect.

25. Go to Edit, Copy Merged, Go into Animation shop, Right click on the workspace, and paste as new animation.

26. Go back into PSP and, Undo your last command twice so you should now have back your marching ants and the outside tractor bit.

Now we need to carefully continue on with the animation, it doesnt matter at all if it looks a little bumpy as it is driving along lol, but try to do it as straight as you can so it dont look too bumpy lol, it is easy to do the moving effect, but can be a little tedious, but as you can see i think it is well worth the time to get the effect.

27. carefully move your tractor to the left slightly, about 20 pixels roughly, click delete on your keyboard, deselect, Go to edit, copy merged, into animation shop, hold down the ctrl button on your keyboard hit the letter L, which is a short cut for pasting after the current frame.

28. Go back into PSP and, Undo your last command twice so you should now have back your marching ants again and the outside tractor bit.

29. Again carefully move your tractor to the left slightly, about another 20 pixels roughly, click delete on your keyboard, deselect, Go to edit, copy merged, into animation shop, hold down the ctrl button on your keyboard hit the letter L.

30. Back into psp again and continue doing steps 27 and 28 until all your tractor is in the frame, you should have approximately 10 frames in animation shop at this point, it might be slightly more or less depending on how many times you moved your tractor along.

31. At this point you wont need to undo your last moves as you will not need to delete the excess to the right of the frame as there wont be any.

32. Continue to move your tractor along the bottom of the frame by about 20 pixels each time, after each move go to edit, copy merged, into animation shop, hold down the ctrl button on your keyboard hit the letter L, do this until your tractor reaches the left hand side of the frame this should be approximately 3 more frames but again it will depend on how much you have moved the tractor across.

33. Right Now we need to do some erasing on the tractor layer again, using your Selection Tool, set on Rectangle, Mode ~ Add (Shift), Feather 0, Draw a rectangle around the left side of the frame, approximately the same size as you did to the right of the frame, so we can delete any excess that comes out into the left side of the frame, Hit Delete on your Keyboard this will get rid of any excess showing, Deselect.

34. Go to edit, copy merged, into animation shop, hold down the ctrl button on your keyboard hit the letter L.

35. Go back into PSP and, Undo your last command twice so you should now have back your marching ants again and the outside tractor bit.

36. Again carefully move your tractor to the left slightly, about another 20 pixels roughly, click delete on your keyboard, deselect, Go to edit, copy merged, into animation shop, hold down the ctrl button on your keyboard hit the letter L.

37. Continue to do steps 35 & 36 until all the tractor is out of the inside of the frame you should now have approximately 23 frames in your animation shop but again this will depend on how much you have moved your tractor, it really doesnt matter how many frames there are.

38. In animation shop go to Edit, Select all, Animation, Reverse Frames, this will get the tractor moving in the right direction lol

37. now we need to crop off the excess white, to do this go to the crop tool and draw around the bit of the tag you want to keep in one of the frames, then double click on the inside of the frame, this will cut all the excess off.

38. All thats left to do now is to resize to your liking and save.

And there ya go all done, hope you enjoyed this tutorial and will pop back to try others, Hugs Ann xx
