I am an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Population Health Sciences and a Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. I specialize in health economics and applied microeconomics. My research program aims to elucidate the direct and intergenerational effects of substance use disorder, as well as the role of drug, public health, Medicaid, and child welfare policies in modifying these effects. To examine these associations, I rely on rigorous quasi-experimental research designs and large administrative datasets.
