Angelica Kaufmann

I am Early Career Fellow at the Lichtenberg-Kolleg of the University of Gottingen, where I am a member of the Primate Cognition Research Group affiliated to the Leibniz Institute for Primate Research.

I am also Associate Research Scholar 2015-2016 at the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies at Columbia University in New York City.

In  September 2015, I completed my doctoral studies with a thesis entitled "Animal Intention" at the Centre for Philosophical Psychology of the University of Antwerp, where I was a  member of the research group on Perception and Action led by Bence NanayI have been working on a project named The Origins of Social Cognition.

During my PhD, I visited Warwick University, where I worked with Stephen Butterfill


I studied Philosophy of Mind and I have been Linguistics Research Assistant at the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences of the University of Edinburgh. And, previously I was educated in Logic and Philosophy of Science at The University of Milan, my hometown.

I also collaborate with Corrado Sinigaglia as an Associate Fellow of the Neurophilosophy Lab of the University 

of Milan.
