Andy Surface is a Physical Inorganic Chemist who received his PhD from Washington University in St. Louis. He has specialized in high pressure and temperature NMR techniques, among other pursuits including scientific computer programming,  ESR signal recovery in dilute samples, and de novo drug design. 

Outside of the research lab, Andy enjoys life with his family, along with the pursuit of numerous other interests including playing the piano, keeping up with his open source programming interests, and teaching.
