Bike ride to local solar installations

Sunday, June 17th, 2012

Noon - 4 p.m.

The North Carolina Solar Center and CAM Raleigh are happy to present a solar bike ride around Raleigh.  This June, CAM is exhibiting Andy Hall's solar-powered artwork.  What better way to celebrate than to tour around some of Raleigh's largest solar photovoltaic installations to learn about solar?  The bike ride will go by several solar installations in downtown, with tours at one installation downtown and one at the RBC Center.

Show up between 12p-12:45pm at CAM to register, if you have not already registered online. From 12pm-1pm, you will have the opportunity to go inside CAM and check out Andy Hall's solar-powered art exhibit.

The ride will leave at 1pm sharp. The leisurely ride will be approximately 12 miles long. After the ride, you can join other riders back at CAM for some refreshments and a raffle. Please come out to help support the N.C. Solar Center and CAM Raleigh. This event is a fundraiser for both organizations!

Registration fee is $10.
