"On my skin..."
On my skin, you discover the comfort
That you last felt when you were inside.
A balloon that is pulling me upward,
You are rocking my arms side to side.
As your body lets go of the spirit,
It becomes much more buoyant in air,
Flowing smoothly, with nothing to steer it,
With the breeze and without a care.
Eyes were drooping, mid-dream.
Arms were dropping, mid-stream,
Where the leaves of the maples frame
Your slumbering weightless frame.
