My profile / CV

I am looking for a full-time or near full-time nanny (up to 45 hours) job from November 2014 onwards.

I recently arrived back from the USA where I did a road trip for several months and now I am available to be interviewed.

I have been working in the UK with children aged between 6 months and 10 years since 2012. Before arriving to London, I was teaching in a Hungarian primary school with classes of 25-30 children, teaching several subjects, doing homework and after-school activities.

I have a valid first aid certificate (recognised by Ofsted) and DBS (CRB) check being currently processed.

I am currently living in Wimbledon and in my last position I was a live-out full time nanny at a French family for 15 months. I was caring for a pair of brothers for 55 hours per week sole charge. They were 8 months and 3 years old when I started to take care of them. Duties included the school run routine with the elder one whilst taking care of his baby brother all day long. We were regularly attending playgroups and local libraries as well as arranged play-dates and visiting family friends in the afternoon or taking the elder one to his after school activities.

Prior to that, I worked near Brighton looking after a 10-year old Hungarian boy for 35 hours per week. This position required a great level of flexibility because of the parent's travelling. Daily routine included preparing breakfast, school run, attending football and swimming clubs, homework, teaching him several subjects in Hungarian for his language exam, dinner and bedtime.

Before that, I was working for a family in London with a 9-month and a 3-year old girl as a live-in au pair helping the grandmother taking care of the little ones while the parents were abroad for more than 2 weeks. My duties included nursery school runs with the elder girl, going out to parks, organizing fun activities (e.g. baking cookies together, paper folding, painting), giving bath to both girls in the evenings.

Earlier, I worked in Geneva, Switzerland during June-September 2012 at a Hungarian family, looking after a 6-month old baby girl. I was a live-in au-pair, taking care of the baby in the mornings while her mother was at work. I finished at end of August because the baby went to the kindergarten.

References from the above mentioned families are available upon request.

I am flexible, smiling, patient and I truly enjoy working with children. I am very responsible about my work and about children. I like to take care of them, help them develop through playing and learning. I am very creative and I like making arts and crafts with children such as paper cuts, little figures from fabric, paper, etc. I can as well fulfill all the regular duties which you may require, such as changing nappies, preparing meals, school runs, bath and bedtime routine.
